A FAMILY OF BAPTIST CHURCHES ON MISSION TOGETHER
HistoryRiverside Baptist Association was organized in 1888 by at least eight churches from Monroe, Cumberland and Clinton Counties in Southern Kentucky and Clay, Fentress and Overton Counties in Northern Tennessee. A "History of Riverside Baptist Association" was compiled for the association's 125th Anniversary in 2012 by Willie R Beaty. For more information contact the RBA Office.

PurposeThe purpose of this association is to promote missions, education and the spreading of the Gospel throughout the association, our nation and the entire world in cooperation with the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
The Great Commission Go ye, therefore, and Teach all nations, Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them To observe whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age."
